I had no trouble installing this as I know enough about heat pump wiring to make it work. If your thermostat runs on batteries (not just a battery backup) you may have to add a hot to your Nest. The functionality is a a fly as promised. I love it.

We upgraded our name brand 7 day programmable thermostat because it was running the Auxiliary Heat pump way to much. In December the savings for 1 mo was impressive... I have no doubt the device will be payed in full with savings before the winter is over. We are super excited to see how the summer settings work. If you use a Electric heat pump system this is a Must Have !

Was better than expected

My wife and I recently purchased or first home and had been looking to set up things to better automate our experience. One of our pain points was the house always felt cold.
When we finally bought and installed the nest thermostat we immediately noticed the house felt more comfortable and love being able to control the temperature from any where. I can't recommend this product enough.

Not only does this work Awesomely, it’s also Amazinly Simple to use! Add to that a sleek design that can adjust to your liking and you have the perfect smart thermostat you’ve been looking for!!!

Great Thermostat!

Really awesome so far! We have two, one for upstairs and one for down stairs and they both work great! Really love the Eco feature and how I can adjust it on my phone at work.

Nest for Radiant Heat

I love my nest with my radiant heat system. With a regular thermostat my system would range from 1-2 degrees below the set point to 4 degrees above the set point over the course of two hours. The comfort benefits of nest alone are worth the cost and the efficiency benefits are just an added bonus. Plus I can start the house heating before I leave work so it's warm when I get home. Love it!
