This thermostat is so smart and amazing. Easy to install with very few tools required. Straight forward and easy to follow instructions. Connected to my network with ease. This is the second nest product I have purchased.

Ever since I’ve got the nest thermostat I don’t have to fool with setting it it learned what I like and it keeps the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter

Out with the old!

Efficient use of today's electronics is what keeps technology growing and learning correctly. This Nest thermostat has kept me sane in a sea of maintenance and troubleshooting. Easy to set up and only had to wire it up once before figuring out I mixed two wires up. Luckily it was as easy as changing one single setting on the unit itself! Love the monthly reports of use as well!! Awesome product.

Pretty neat thermostat!

So, we are in a two story house we are renting and the Nest was installed right before we moved in. I had no problem connecting WiFi to it and setting it up. I let it do its learning and after a couple of weeks I figured out that it was still a little bit off what I prefer, but I think it was more catered to the home owner's settings still. I went in to the schedule and set it up like I wanted and so far so good. It has been pretty cold here and my only issue is that this house is a two story with only one HVAC unit instead of two. The nest would work a lot better if there were dual HVACs because it is always 3 or more degrees warmer upstairs than downstairs where the thermostat is located. I have to adjust for that in my settings by making sure the heat turns off at a certain point or my upstairs ends up getting super hot while the downstairs is still a pretty cool 74. If this was a one story the Nest would be much easier to set schedule wise, but I have figured it out for the most part. It is pretty easy to set it up and change the temperature. The app is great too. I love being able to adjust the temp from upstairs if I wake up and it's a little too warm or cold. Our weather has been all over the place so I like being able to adjust it as necessary. The app is easy to use. It did take me a moment to figure out how to set the schedule in the app though.

Best Thermostat I've ever owned

This thermostat makes controlling the temperature of your home very easy and comvient. No more forgetting to set the thermostat before leaving home or leaving on a vacation. With the app you can control your thermostat from anywhere, very easy to install. Highly recommended.

Really makes me feel like my home has been upgraded. Much easier to use than my old programmable thermostat. Being able to use it with the google assistant is a great feature.

Great product. The few things I would point out would be:
1. Taking a photo of your past wiring configuration is so important to use as a reference.
2. Knowing what type of HVAC system (forced air etc.) you have is also very important to your wiring.
3. Give your HVAC system time to kick into full working potential. It will take several mins if not an hour or so.
I enjoy both of mine.
