Really cool and energy saving

I originally just accepted the offer of the Nest Thermostat because it was part of the package. Now I am glad that I did. Besides the cool look it provides a lot of functionality that is lacking in the usual Thermostat which comes with a house. In just one day I noticed that my two air conditioners were not on as much yet the rooms maintained the same temperature and in some better. I love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Simple to setup, easier to use

Hands down, the best thermostat I’ve ever owned. I’ll never understand why I get so excited about a thermostat, but it’s a fantastic luxury to be able to check the temperature before I leave work and have it heated/cooled before I get home. Not to mention the 15% in my energy bill. My Nest paid for itself within the first year!

Easy to use with a nice design

Our Nest is fun to use, especially because of the way it learns our preferences as we actually set them rather than forcing us to program temperatures that we think we will like. The thermostat is easy to install and connect to our Wifi. The support material that is available online is helpful.

NEST LEARNING THERMOSTAT

I replaced a Mechanical Programmable Thermostat that was troublesome and stopped working.
I received the NEST Learning Thermostat as a gift from family member and have no problems.
I am very pleased with the responsive control for setting the temperature range for heating and cooling control while I am at home. I have replaced my existing Fire and Smoke Alarm after ten years of use with the Nest Protect (smoke and CO alarm ) because the Learning Thermostat will work with the Nest Protect. I am impressed with the light path available during night when I need to check household access. Thank you for this improved product that works with human beings.

Replaced Basic Thermostat After Buying Home

I installed the Nest after moving in to a new house that had a basic non-programmable thermostat. Along with new dual flush toilets our utility bill has gone down $40 a month. It’s easy to install following the directions and watching the installation video by Nest on YouTube.
While the smart learning schedule is useful I found it faster and easier to just login online and set up a schedule.
