Awesome Product.

I have had the Nest thermostat for only two days and I have been beyond thrilled to finally own one. I have been waiting to get one for the right time and now that I own one, I couldn't be happier. Everything from installation to now has been a walk in the park. Installation was exactly 30 minutes and using the Nest app has been a great resource whether I am home or not. Now the only thing left is to get my thermostat up to speed on learning my temperatures.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I should have got one sooner!

I was pleasantly surprised by the ease to install as well as the super convenient functionality of the Nest. I will definitely be purchasing more Nest products. Officially - a customer for life!

Super Happy with Thermostats

Now we can sleep soundly. No more one room a sauna and the other a meat locker. We had our thermostats professionally installed. Wife doesn’t trust me with diy. Our one room cold other room hot bizarre temperature differences have been tamed. I was confused as to why our air conditioning was all over the place. I’d leave a chilly downstairs to a sweaty upstairs. Game changer!

I like the ability to change it from a phone, however the learn feature is off and it doesn’t hold the temp it’s set at. It’s constantly warmer than it should be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, thanks for sharing your experience with us. We’re glad to hear that you like the Nest Learning Thermostat, but we apologize that its learning feature is causing you trouble.
The learning feature Auto-Schedule learns from your preferences and automatically creates schedules that turn on the thermostat. Here are a couple of things you can do to disable the learning feature and clear your schedules.
- Select your thermostat in the Nest App, and select settings at the top right corner. - Select 'Auto-Schedule' from the list and toggle the switch to the left to turn it off.
After disabling the learning feature, we suggest clearing all the schedules to make sure the thermostat doesn't turn on by itself: - Go to your thermostat, and select Settings > Reset > Schedule > Reset.

I had been contemplating replacing our Honeywell programmable thermostat for the last 12 months. Sorry I did not make the decision sooner. I called my HVAC contractor and was quote $150 for the installation. After a few u-tube video's, decide I would do it my self. After 3 hours of frustration and 2 calls to next support, its up and working and am a very satisfy nest thermostat owner.

Excellent Purchase

Hello, I have replaced a previous ecoBee 3 Thermostat, and since I did it, I have no problems at all with the Nest 1st gen. After 2 years I have upgraded to Nest 2nd Gen, new and better design, same features and also added 2 cameras, everything is working perfect, I love it!

I am very satisfied with this thermostat. I like the slick look, the fact that it's easy to set up on my phone with other products and customer service when there is an issue. I don't like having to pay for subscription, and it does not have an ability to show both current temperature and time at the same time. It'd be nice if it could alternate between the two data type.
