Installation was relatively easy. As anticipated, I had to connect a 24v supply using an available wire because my old thermostat operated by batteries. Set up is easy. Looking forward to being able to adjust the temperature remotely. Good value and well conceived product.

Best decision ever and price is worth the savings, ease of use via the phone, and the appearance. Loving it and everyone that sees it is impressed at how lovely it is a d then the features shock them.

Gives me peace of mind

I installed the Nest thermostat myself in under 10 minutes and have been so happy with it since I did. I am regularly traveling and the ability to warm or cool the house for my arrival is saving me money. It is doing everything I had hoped it would. With this satisfaction, I am installing a doorbell and camera next.

I was going to have a friend install it, but decided to try it myself. The instructions were easy and I was able to do it myself! I didn't even need tools because my nest came with the necessary tool for installation. The unit walked me through the programming and set up. Easy, easy. I am a single lady and loved the opportunity to do the install and program this on my own.

There is a learning curve (as with any new product) but once we got the first one up and running the rest were very easy. Love the fact I can control the thermostats from 500 miles away!

Right Decision

I have a good experience of this product. Before that, I had many doubts about its installation and functions. Luckily, my last apartment gave me a chance to try out its functions and app. After moving to a new house, I started searching for possible replacements. Google Nest was on the top of the list. Thankfully, before I buy and install any, the customer service gave me a great consultation. Their service was very detailed and friendly. They are super patient with my limited knowledge of HAVC. Each their response was very timely and constructive (24/7 online chat). They did not make me feel uncomfortable (like to push me to buy any their product) at all. I would say my experience of the Google Nest moved toward to the next level. Without the Customer Service Consultation, I might chose another cheaper and easy brand (or I spend more $$ for someone doing the project). I would definitely recommend it and its wonderful customer service (before you purchase it).

We love our new thermostat..The thermostat was easy to set up and we enjoy it the most since you can not only monitor it from your phone you can set it from your phone..We would recommend it.
