Set it and forget it!

At first I was a bit reluctant to install the thermostat myself. It sat on my kitchen counter for a month. Then I opened the package and read the instructions and saw that it wasn’t too difficult. I was replacing and old thermostat so most of the wiring was done. The intallation took me less than 20 minutes. The thermostat learns and you don’t ever have to adjust it after the first few weeks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good but not great

This mostly does what you would expect. However, I am pretty disappointed with the accessibility and availability of data. With a smart thermostat that generates data, I should be able to (easily) access more than 10 days of history/usage data.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Savings and Style

The only issue I had with installation was due to the way my system was originally configured; otherwise, setup was very easy. Within the first day or two, I noticed how much better the Nest Thermostat was at managing my heating and cooling system. When engaged, my heat would run for a much shorter duration that it did with my old thermostat (mercury based). In addition, the larger higher resolution screen on the 3rd generation looks sleek and modern. When installed, the overall design gives my home really adds to the overall style of my home. After making several updates to my home, the large rectangular brown box in the hallway stuck out like a sore thumb. The Nest Thermostat stands out, but adds a nice touch to the overall feel in the area it currently resides that never looks out of place.

Great product

I have three in my house. Simple, easy to use and control. App is simple and clear. Fabulous to be in bed and turn AC lower or turn off without getting up. Highly recommend.

Nest wow!

We’ve been dealing with the programmable thermostats that do not work and cannot be understood, heat was always going on in the summer. The Nest was easy to install as well use. There’s nothing like lying in bed and controlling the temperature on a cold winter night from your phone, especially if you’re lazy.
