Just amazing... easy to setup even in house which had 25 year old thermostat. It gives you a summary of usage and my PSEG bill shows the efficiency....

Amazing product and looks nice too! I love the ability to control the climate in my home from anywhere. It’s ability to learn and change things to save energy is also an amazing feature. I would recommend to anyone who asked.

Installation Difficult

Nest touts easy installation but that wasn’t the case for us. After over an hour on a call with the help center we gave up and had an HVAC Pro install it. The whole reason we got it was a credit from the power company. Our ROI is several years away at best. Other than that we like the features an it’s easy to use once you have all the apps talking to each other.

dont expect to have the instructions help in any way...they are terrible and refer you to pages that no longer exist..or to call for help and there is no way to get a number much less speck to people....very poorly done.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The installation is designed to be a DIY project but unfortunately is some situations depending on the wiring diagram and the HVAC system, some professional help may be needed.
