Great for vacation rentals

Overall I'm very happy with my Nest Thermostats. In only a short amount of time it is clear that these will pay for themselves and then go on to save me money, quickly. Only 4 stars because of trouble installing 3 out of 4 that I own. All of these were upgrades from working thermostats. 1 had an issue with getting enough power. 2 had (and still have) issues with controlling AC. Heat is fine.

Love it and so simple to use

I love our nest thermostat gen 3. Everything from installation to ease of use, has been extremely easy. Also it has helped keep my power usage stay at a low rate. I’m hoping to get the outdoor cam IQ and hello doorbell whenever I can afford them since the products can be costly.

Nest - Two Thermostats

I installed two Nest THermostats yesterday in my four story townhome. Two furnaces / AC units...so I needed two. I am not a techno guy. I kind of have to make an intentional effort to engage my technical / left brain, so I wanted to install these two Nests by myself. And...I did it! What can I say but “Yippee!” It was fun, had to go back a couple of times (but more me than the instructions).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to install, easy to use

This equipment is so easy to install. The step-by-step video directions are well done and very clear. If someone as non-handy as I am can install it, ANYONE can. The control application is intuitive to use. I have a Google home assistant, which was easy to link to the thermostat so I can use voice commands. I know I’ve saved money in the short time I’ve had my Nest thermostat.

Just installed my second Nest

I had my contractor put one into my renovated vacation condo. It is great to control it remotely and have a schedule/timer. So I decided to add one to my home myself. I watched the youtube videos and called the support line as I had an extra wire not in the instruction manual. They answered quickly and answered my question and sent me a wiring diagram. Very easy!

I was pleasantly surprised to find how simple Nest was to set up and use.
It's a great product but one small issue is when the target temperature and current temperature are within a couple degrees of one another, the current temperature does not show up on the display.

Amazing Product! Just Beautiful

Installed my first Nest product, the learning thermostat. Installation was easy and integration with Google Home is just awesome. Product has a minimal design and a modern look. Will be buying more into Nest/Google ecosystem.
