Great product to lower energy costs...

This was a little difficult to install but once hooked up it is a great product to lower energy costs. Depending on situation it maybe advisable to have product professionally installed.

Super easy to install. Seriously, even if you're one of those people who runs in terror from technology, YOU CAN DO THIS. It's almost as easy as plugging a lamp in.
The thermostat works great, and looks beautiful. I cannot imagine any way to improve this device.

Nest Learning Thermostat

Have been wanting to replace my old thermostats for a while and finally decided to replace them (I have two thermostats). Wow! Am I glad I did, the setup and configuration was very well documented and easy to follow. I really did appreciate the back plate that it comes with, so you can hide the holes from the previous thermostat. Had both of them installed an configured in about 20 minutes.

My HVAC professional advised that we replace the manual round thermostat with a Nest or another brand of similar quality. We chose the Nest after reading reviews and understanding potential future capabilities (i.e. camera, sensors, etc.). I am not particularly IT savvy but am handy with repairs so I teamed up with my 19 year old and we got it installed and the app on our phones pretty well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my thermostat. Yes, it is not the cheapest, but it will pay for itself in 2 months from what you save on your electric bill. I will always have this thermostat in every single house I live in.
