Didn't work

Replaced Nest Thermostat E with Nest Learning due to failure after the warranty period--nearly 2 years in service. Turned out the Nest Learning didn't work either. Firmware update by Google? Nest/Google Support couldn't help either. HVAC Pro couldn't get it to work either. Replaced with Ecobee and no issue. Goodbye Nest. Unhappy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very good thermostat and nice design. It replaced the older thermostat when we recently installed a newAC/ Heating unit.

Easy to use & install

Very simple installation. Just download the app first and it will walk you through, step-by-step. Once installed, it's even easier to use. The old programmable thermostat was such a hassle with all the buttons and small screen. And the mobile app is easy to use and if you choose to (which I highly recommend you do) you can enable it to use your phone to detect if you're home or not!

Great money saver

I've got my Nest installed in a vacation home I rent out, the eco feature is great for making sure the AC isn't left running at full power all day when there's no-one at home. The usage graphs make it easy to keep track of what the system has been doing, straight to my phone.

Replaced a working thermostat with a Nest. Love that you can control it from anywhere. The geo fencing is great so the heat or A/C isn't running when you leave the house for a couple of hours.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The style of the Nest Learning Thermostat is what originally drew me to it, clean glass face with the dark machined dial. Then I hooked it up. Works amazing as the thermostat in my home, and learns when to have optimal temperature to save money on your energy bill. What else could you ask for?
