Love this nest. Set up my schedule and nest does the rest. Temperatures are always how it's Ben set up, saves money when you leave and it lowers the temp to what you set up

what did Google do?!

I used Nest for a number of years in the house I used to live in. I especially liked the Nest App and the control and programming it allowed. Now I've moved and had to "upgrade" to Googles Home App and nothing works. It shows that I have Nest thermostats installed in the house but doesn't allow me to access or control any of them. I also have 3 Google Mesh Network Repeaters which don't show up in the app at all and so are now useless. Why Google, when things are working just fine am I forced to "upgrade" to a less functional set of software rendering most of my investment useless?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Nest Learning Thermostat can be controlled on both Nest app and Google Home app. Our long term plan is to use the Google Home app as the one place you can control all of your favorite Nest and other smart home devices, as well as Google Assistant. In the near future, we’ll allow users to set up previous Nest devices and have full control in the Home app. Our team is working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app so all of your devices can be set up and controlled in one place.

Great product

Great product easy to use. Fresh modern look to the device with motion sensor, it displays temperature inside the houses and temperature set inside the house. Easy to adjust by turning the dial. The look is almost the same in the app. It also gives you weekly/daily energy use. I really like this device and would recommend it to others.
