Great product overall

Really great product and good software. Had some initial issues getting a thermostat that functioned properly and now that I do I can control it from anywhere in the world which is awesome since I'm in the military and travel quite often. Its also contributed to my energy bill drastically dropping from $300 to $75 over the past year in conjunction with a new HVAC system from Bosch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

In a time when efficiency is important this is the perfect addition to your house. The learning schedule and app for home away access makes this better than any programmable thermostat!

What can I say but what a fantastic home management tool. I have the door bell and thermostat and It has been fun and profitable with both in several ways. The whole family gets into it say it has even given our family some adhesiveness with never expected from it

Nest is the Best

You just really can't go wrong, once you set it up (minimal degree of difficulty) it basically does everything else. I love the fact I can use the app on my phone and control the thermostat, see the usage, set the schedule. It's fantastic.

Great product, one installation glitch

This is my first foray into the Nest product line, and I'm very happy with the ease of installation and setup-- Google provided great instructions for a DIY guy like me. There was one glitch, however, with the new mounting plate... my old mounting plate had a short jumper between terminals that was too short for the new Nest plate, so make sure you have some extra 18 gauge wire handy if needed.

This is the first smart component to be installed in my brand new house. After much research I have decided to go with Nest for the entire house and if all of the other items are this cool, I'm never going to leave the house!
