Disappointing

Should be able to operate within 0.5 degrees from set temperature. Operating instructions are woefully inadequate. Not at all intuitive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for your feedback. Normally, your thermostat will wait to turn on your system until it gets to about 1ºF (0.5ºC) warmer or cooler than the temperature you’ve set. This is to prevent unnecessary wear on your system and help save energy.

Cozy Technology

Nest Learning Thermostat was easy to install and setup a Nest account. We paired with Alexa; which makes it easy to change temperatures from anywhere in the house as we have two Alexa dots. Nest App is cool too. Can get outside temperature and adjust thermostat from my iPhone. We are looking forward to learning all the features of our new Nest Thermostat and then explore more Nest products.

Holy Electricity Bill

My electricity bill at my new apartment was so high and I knew it was primarily from the AC unit. I've helped other family members with their own installation and decided to give it a try. Well my electricity bill just got cut to 1/4 of my old one. Having a smart system has been great and I love being able to access remotely.

Makes saving on energy cost much easier! Auto-learning feature to make a suggested heating setback schedule sets Nest apart from others.

My nest thermostat got bumped and the display broke. I contacted nest support and they replaced it with no charge!

Awesome technology

I’ll never have to walk into a hot or cold house again. With the ease of the nest thermostat app and reliability of this learning thermostat our home is always comfortable and we are saving money when we are away from home also. Love this nest product. Super easy and quick install and set up.

Ease of Installation and Use

First time I've ever installed a Nest thermostat so was a little leary as most instructions that come with electronics are "somewhat" fuzzy (like maybe written by a tech from overseas?). However, instructions were crystal clear and easy to follow -- no issues with the simple installation, and using the Nest is extremely intuitive.
I would recommend this to a friend!
