Exceeded Expectations

I got the 3rd Gen Nest right before Christmas. There wasn't anything wrong with our old thermostat, but I never bothered to learn how to use it meaning it pretty much stayed in set-it-and-forget-it mode 24/7/365.
With the Nest, I now have better control over my heating and cooling needs. I can better gauge my HVAC system's energy usage. I'm able to do silly things like cut the heat up while I'm snuggled under covers on cold, winter days. It just works.
I wanted a Nest for years. I'm glad I got one. It's one of the best purchases I've made for my house in a long time.

Nest Learning Themostat is a Great Product!

If you can open the box you can install these thermostats. The developers made this idiot proof and they provide all the tools you'll need to install them. I have two of these thermostats now and will probably install a 3rd one in the near future. Great Product!!!

New Thermostat

I’ve just installed my nest thermostat and I love the way it’s been working. I don’t have to program dates and times when it comes to cooling and heating my home. The 1-2-3 steps to getting it running has helped keep my home cool when I’m there and saves energy when I’m not.

App install was a little clunky but their video was easy to use. Thermostat tells you if you install it correctly which one of the wires was not installed. I like the app and the fact that it integrated into my smart home Wink hub. I was on the fence about buying this or another smart thermostat but I bought this used for cheap which helped seal the deal. Now that it is installed I have it set to 62-75 to save money.
