This is my second Nest Thermostat. The first Nest that I owned died from a lightning strike.
This series works well in both heating and cooling but I noticed from the beginning that it doesn’t maintain the temp as well as the older unit did. There’s a 2-3° lag before the heat or AC comes on.
The installation and setup was relatively easy if you can follow the well written instructions.

It was easy to tell if the Nest Learning Thermostat was compatible with my wiring, as my home is at least 22 years old. The thermostat was easy to install and following the directions on the app was really easy. I would recommend this product.

I love this thermostat. It is so easy to operate. I was so impressed with the one that I have in my house that I bought one for my rentals. Great product that is totally worth its value.

Easy to learn

I really love this product. It does everything it supposed to do. When we bought this home it was already installed. My wife and I had to teach ourselves how to use it. I don't typically have an issue with learning a new smart device, but my wife, well... With the Nest it was a breeze for her. I really appreciate that.

The Nest is a great device. We needed to call in one time during the installation process, which we did ourselves, and they were extremely helpful and knew right away how to help us.
We really like the fact that the Nest has learned our habits for the winter and that it automatically adjusts and we will teach it our summer habits when the time comes. There were many times before when we would go to bed and forget to adjust the temperature, now we don't have to, the Nest will do it for us.
