Wish I wouldn't have waited so long

Bought the Nest before the holidays. My husband procrastinated a long time until I threatened to sell it he was very intimidated by the install as well as not knowing if it was going to work the way he wanted as we often heat with wood and only use the fan - however he installed with ease and it is working so well we wake up so toasty in the morning loooove the program feature to waking up warm
I would recommend this to a friend!

The nest was very easy to install (a caveman could do it). It looks great and works exactly as it is supposed to.

Best investment

Not only was this product a great investment, but it's easy to use for people of all ages. Don't fear technology any longer, upgrade your home. I love having the freedom to change settings from my smart devices when I'm home or away.

So much better

I could never be sure I had my old thermostat programmed correctly. No problem with the Nest! Only had it installed for a day but already loving it! Only downside is the price and it is a little bit slow setting it up. Once you get past that, it works great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nest thermostat

I have 5 nest thermostats, it is very convenient to be able to adjust temperature settings from any location. I have 2 at church that are on a schedule revolving around church services. One at the lake house that I can adjust before going and of course high and low settings to avoid freezing or extreme summer highs. Really helps conserve energy usage.

Great thermostat and app

The Nest works well, is easy to install and configure and a pleasure to use. The app has a feature where you can set up the thermostat to scale back if you are not home based on the presence of your phone. You can extend the at home awareness to include other family members. That set up is not as intuitive. I gave the Nest 4:5 stars because the remote module is not very flexible. The Nest can work off of its internal thermometer or one or two remotes placed in other areas. The remote program is limited to only a few temperature changes over a 24 hour period, like morning, day, evening and night. It would be much more functional if the remote programming were as flexible as the Nest itself.

Love it!

I've been interested in upgrading my existing thermostat for some time. I love this product. It was easy to install and has a great aesthetic look to it. I love that it learned my weekly usage and auto adjusts during the day according to that schedule. I like being able to control the device from my phone, for those hot/chilly nights when an adjustment is needed, but I'm already cozy in bed! Also like that it tells the weather.
