While the unit is nicely designed, easy to install, and easy to read the app is a learning process in and of itself - especially when you add one or more pods. So, while it is learning, so am I.

Great learning thermostat

This is a great learning thermostat! Looks great too, I got the black option. You can customize the schedule, control from anywhere, monitor performance etc. and if you have other nest products you can control them all from one app. Must buy

I have a two story home with the thermostat downstairs, and I love to be able to control it from my phone through the app. The auto learn feature is great since you won’t have to keep adjusting the temperature each time come home. With the alert mode you don’t have to keep track of when to replace the filter because you’ll be notified.

Great Thermostat!

I had this thermostat installed new with a new residential HVAC system. The ease of install was great; the thermostat very easy to configure. The thermostat works great, gives good reports and, has a great iOS app to go with it. Also has an Android app for those using Android devices. I have no problems with this thermostat and I plan to get another in the future for a commercial site.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to install

I was surprised at how easy the thermostat was to install. The video showed step-by-step instructions that were very helpful. I can now turn off the thermostat when I leave out of town and turn it back on before I return from my phone.

Great Product

Installed a Nest about 5 yrs ago in previous residence. Immediately noticed a significant reduction in utility bills. Moved into a new home 5 days ago, and the first improvement I did was install a Nest. It's easy to install and really saves the consumer money

My neighbor initially told me how happy he was with the Nest due to the assist with reducing his carbon footprint which directly reflected on lower energy Bills. This was a no brainer purchase. Home /away assist option is a life saver! Very easy set-up and looks excellent. Would recommend for everyone to go get one, saves a bunch of money on power bill.
