Gen-3 installed in my home works like a charm. I'm really impressed with the level of technical installation documentation and the quality of construction. The remote app is dead-on accurate and very responsive. It's really great when you have a technically challenged spouse...!

I researched several smart thermostats and liked the Nest because of its form factor. It was straight forward to mount and setup.
It tied into Alexa seemlessly.

Pricey. But it is worth it and is easy to set up. Works great with other nest products, all controlled through the app.
Also, connects to the ADT app if you have ADT

We bought this thermostat after falling in love with the Nest smoke detector, and it has not disappointed. It looks great on the wall and the display/programming is so easy to navigate. Whether I’m adjusting the temp by hand or using the Nest App or Alexa, this thermostat keeps track of my patterns allowing me to establish a schedule that saves energy while keeping the perfect temperature.

A must for all homes

The first purchase I made for my new home, I cannot express my eagerness to get one of these and throw out the old "dumb" thermostat. The first big step in creating a Smart Home.

It Couldn't Get Easier

Setup was quick and easy - I replaced an old manual thermostat. The Eco setting is very useful and gives me a new way to think about my energy useage. It also displays the daily weather when I walk by, which is pretty nifty. I'm curious as to how well it will learn my family's temperature settings over time. Overall, I'm gald I finally got this after a year of contemplating.
