I like it but need help with the advanced settings

I am a single female, over 40. I was able to install this unit with a few questions from my friend’s husband who an HVAC person, the Nast website, the diagrams that came with the equipment, and with the videos that you can find online.
I would say, if you are unsure about the set up in anyway, make sure you try to find a Nest pro to help with the installation.

Great product

I wanted to move from a traditional old style smart thermostat to newer technology. I tried one of the competitors and found it to be substandard. My issue was I had a 10 wire heat pump system. This has worked wonderful with this and seems to greatly reduce the run requirements of my system.

This really delivers

In all things electronic, you tend to get what you pay for. This amazing little device is no exception. You pay a premium, but it really delivers. This is the coolest thermostat I've ever seen, and it's super simple to use. I like how it learns your habits and starts doing your adjustments for you. I also like how you get a monthly report of your energy usage. All around it's a great experience.

Love the ease of using

I’m a 70+ woman living in an apartment. My daughter gave me one of her Nest thermostats. I kept it in a drawer (waiting to get the courage to install it ) for 6 months. I watched a YouTube installation guide, installed it in less than 30 minutes and starting using it right away. Love this accurate, easy-to-use, (easy-to-install!) thermostat.

Arrive to cool home in HOT Arizona!

My favorite feature, and the reason I purchased, is to have the ability to remotely, by using my iPhone, start cooling my home before I arrive home when it is 110 degrees outside and to have my home at 80 when I open the door = happy camper! Also I am a 68 yr old widow and 100% installed myself

Not as Simple As it Sounds

Google nest should have a database that has wiring information for all major models of the thermostats people are replacing. My wiring connections must be different for my downstairs unit vs. my upstairs unit. One works, one doesn't, but I can always find a profe$$ional to complete the install.
