I’ve been hesitant to purchase the nest. At first I thought it would be hard to install, or not work right...but, wow oh wow, I was wrong. My hubby surprised me with it and it’s an instant any room upgrade to the beginning of a smart house. The instillation booklet isn’t too helpful, so i replied on youtube and the faq of the nest website. besides that, once running its fantastic! Brilliant.

Love our Nest Thermostat

We love how we are able to control the home temp when we are not there. If we travel in the winter time, it is nice to be able to turn up the heat so pipes don't freeze. On the reverse, it is also nice to keep things low to save money when we are not there. Lastly, it is great that is retains information of when we want the house warm and when it is OK to be cool. Waking up to warm floors!

My nest is great! I love that I can control it from my phone and my google home mini (simple things like this make me happy). My nest is sleek and inconspicuous. Installation was easy based on the instructions.

Wish I bought it sooner

Very simple to install if you have a newer heating and A/C system and so far I think it’s going to save me more money since if my kids raise the temp at the unit I can either lock it or change it back from my phone

Nest Thermostat

Difficult to adjust the thermostat manually. Swiping the side of the thermostat to change settings is a learned practice and many times doesn't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Saving Money

I had heard that this device could save you money. I initially thought it was like LED where you typically would not see a difference. Not the case with this Nest thermostats. I have a single level 3500 sq’ home that required two. I initially bought them to utilize them with my smart home automation device. I’ve had them for a little over a month and my bill was cut by $88! Thanks Nest!

The nest thermostat is an excellent addition to any home for tons of reasons. It’s simple to install and use. It works with Alexa devices as well google products as well.
