Just Installed Yesterday

I was considering a few different smart thermostats and settled on the Nest. It arrived with everything needed for setup, go include a screwdriver. From opening the box, to removing the old thermostat, and getting the Nest setup, I was working on it for about 40 minutes. I did encounter an error during setup because I did not need to use the common wire, but the troubleshooting walked through step-by-step how to get it up and running. The instructions are incredibly easy to follow.
I really like the sleek design of the thermostat. I did have to use the optional plate to cover the old holes, but it still looks very nice.
I'm looking forward to making full use of the Home/Away Assist, as I often forget to adjust the temp when we leave or go to bed.

Our Nest alerted us to a water leak!

We had only had the Nest Learning Thermostat for 3 weeks when after being gone for a week we noticed the humidity in the house went from 14% to 26% then to 34% and finally to 54% within an hour. Although we were 4 states away and it was New Years Day, I was able to call a friend to go turn the water to the house off. It turns out, we had a leak in our upstairs bathroom and had water all the way down into our basement. Without the Nest Learning Thermostat I would not have know about the issue and water would have been pouring into my house for an additional 6 hours while we made the journey home. The Nest Learning Thermostat helped us reduce the amount of damage done to our house and I am so thankful that I purchased it! I highly recommend the Nest Learning Thermostat!

It's hot here in Texas and my electric bill is only $36 this month. Pretty good for a house built in 1973.

Elegant and Simple

The Nest thermostat's design is what separates it from its competitors. It includes anything you might need and the self leveling bubble on the hardware is genius. It comes with a wall plate just in case there is some damage from your previous thermostat too! The installation process is so simple and straight-forward. The self locking terminals for the wires are amazing.

The ease of the Nest Learning Thermostat

I've found the Nest Learning Thermostat to be better and as easy to use as its simpler predecessor model. Took only seconds to set up and it started learning our preferences and modes. Hadn't seen much of a utility bill difference as of yet, but my bill is definitely lower that that of my neighbor's utility bill.

Highly advanced and super easy to install

I just purchased the Nest Learning Thermostat from Best Buy. It was on sale, plus I got a free Google Home mini with the purchase. My AC required several other repairs, so a technician installed the device but I watched the video and realized its supper easy could have done it myself. After the install, I easily connected it to the internet, installed the app on my phone and soon I was on EcoMode!

Nest Thermostat

I love this product. The install was easy. It’s convenient to be able to adjust the temperature when I’m away from home or running late trying to get home. My cats, in their fur coats, like to be in a comfortable temperature! The monthly Nest report is also very helpful in giving me the info I need to keep the electric bill under control. Thank you!
