Huge improvement over old mercury

Swapped out two old thermostats controlling our heat pumps (dual zone) and have seen some definite energy savings. Rating 5 stars in spite of the fact that the learning mode and home/away assist have been a little tricky to use, mainly because of the location of the thermostats. But overall the experience has been great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent - a must have!

I'm so thankful I finally bought a Nest thermostat!
It took me 5 minutes to install, looks great, & is easy to read & use.
I can control the heat/AC from my phone so my mobility issues due to MS don't hinder my comfort.
BEST OF ALL, it has safety temp settings! MS causes severe heat intolerance so knowing I'm safe if I'm unable to turn the AC on myself, even if Nest is off, is a HUGE relief!

I love my Nest so easy to install and set-up. Its a One and Done process. Once its set-up in my case no need to adjust it does all the work.

It is a good thermostat but if you're not at the house and the net goes off you can not reconnect unless you're there to pair the nest. So it was a waste of my time. I lived in TX and the house with the nest was in AR.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Buy

We previously owned a nest, but when we purchased our new home, we decided to upgrade to the Nest 3rd generation and this thermostat is better than thr previous nest where owned. What's better are bigger words/numbers for people that struggle with reading smaller displays and other features like, the analog clock display.

Although the price is a little high for a thermostat, the functionality is fantastic. The installation process is easy and straight forward. The Nest is easy to use and setup. Some of the features such as voice commands need other products to function, i did not know this until after installation. Overall a great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!
