This is the gateway drug for actually useful snarthome products. It's so nice to have app access when you are away.. the self learning is suprisingly good, so you're not only almost always comfortable, but it makes it so the temp rarely needs your attention. And for those rare times you are up in bed and decide you need that extra chill, you don't even have to get up to change it!

I do HVAC controls for a living, and this thing is amazing. If the products I install in commercial buildings were this easy, I'd have a much easier time hiring training and installing product. The thermostat works very well and senses humidity as well as temperature, is somewhat easy to schedule, and gives good information. I wish commercial buildings had applications like this.

Accurate and easy to use

I love that there are so many features for managing the comfort of my home. I can access the thermostat directly from the wall unit, a computer or my cell phone. No matter where I am, I can ensure the temperature of my house is exactly what I want it to be. I can’t image going back to a “traditional” thermostat after having a Nest.

Easy set up and functional

The set up process to replace and old thermostat with the new 3rd Gen. nest learning thermostat was easy. Was not sure with one of the wires but tech support was quick to answer my question and was ready to go in about 15 minutes. It’s great to see how much energy the system uses in any given day. Easy to use app and like the functions of remotely controlling the thermostat through wi-fi.

My husband & I are extremely impressed with our NEST Thermostat. It was part of a total replacement of our HVAC system last summer. Skeptical at first, we are amazed at how easy it is to use at home and on our SmartPhones and tablets through the NEST app. A detailed report shows our monthly usage. We plan to purchase more NEST products soon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
