Great thermostat

We love being able to remotely check the thermostat and it's ability to work with our Amazon Alexa devices. Connected to my home wifi in a snap. It looks great and was easy to install.

Can't wait for the Summertime

I've had the 3rd Gen Nest for a couple of months now and love it but there's one particular moment where I fell in love. We had a, shall we say, family guest over who felt the need to keep cranking up the thermostat in my home because she felt too cold so I was able to casually log into my nest from my computer where I was working, lock the thermostat and only allow it to be adjusted between certain temperatures. This passive aggressive way to fight the good fight made the purchase completely worth it.
Overall it's been great during the winter months. I was able to drop the temp when on vacation and begin to reheat the house about an hour or so before we got home from the app. It's been a great tool and honestly can't wait to see what it does to our bills for the AC during the summer.

Easy to use and install

Looks slick. Instructions made it easy to install - I had 1 stumbling block but going on-line was able to solve. App makes it easy to control remotely and the energy reports makes it easy to see how you are using your energy efficently (or not).
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Nest thermostat is excellent! After installalling the Nest I have been able to keep the temperature 4 degrees lower than my old unit and the home feels just as comfortable as it did before it was installed. Love the geofencing option so the home is warm/cool before returning.
