Nice Upgrade from conventional Thermostat

I purchased the Nest Learning Thermostat to upgrade a conventional non-programable thermostat that we had. I was also interested in being able to monitor and control the temperature of my home remotely to save on energy cost.
The Nest Learning Thermostat was easy to install and setup. It took me approximately fifteen minutes from start to finish. I am very happy with the results so far.

We received the Nest from our children as a gift. We bought our forever home and have been doing lots of projects and remodeling since we have moved in. Trying to reduce our expenses we have already invested in solar panels and with the installation of the Nest we hope to further monitor our heating/cooling expenses. It is cosmetically attractive in our family room and was very easy to install.

Love the Nest thermostat. Simple app to use on my phone. I adjust the home temperature from my bed or from 100 miles away to have the perfect temperature comfort in our home. Scheduling is easy to set up 78deg for 14hours (daytime) and 74deg for 10hours (sleep time). Very accurate thermostat and awesome display. Has a sensor to illuminate as you approach to read. Caution! be certain to view all options and settings. I.e., Echo and Leaf settings as the Nest comes with the default setting of constantly changing the home temperature as you come and go from your home. Maybe good if you are single but not good when the settings automatic go to warmer setting when you leave but others are home. It's not an a/c problem, it's in the settings. Overall it's a great thermostat with many setting options.

great easy install no more hard pressing buttons

my old trane thermostat’s button did not work good anymore i had to press so hard for like 10 seconds for it to work that my fingers ached so much i decided to get a new thermostat. i have a baby too so i decided ti get a smart thermostat so i could change the temp when in bed with him. such a lifesaver easy install recognized my wifi and heat worked for winter now i don’t have to trip at night to change temperatures and so baby won’t wake up at night anymore thanks nest

The Nest Thermostat has worked great in our large family home. Its learning our working schedule and adjusting when were away. I love the Nest app I can check in and see the temp of my home from anywhere. I like I can lock the Thermostat if I choose to keep little fingers at bay. Overall I'm really impressed!!

Ground changing technology

Once you get this it, you will be so excited that it will be challenging to go back to the old way. This technology kind of feels like getting a wireless remote for the TV st.
It sure beats getting up , walking over to the set had physically change the channels by hand. Freedom.
