This was so easy to install and I am now loving what I see everyday as I walk by and it detects me and tells me what the temperature is in my home.

Works with radiators

When I first saw the Nest Learning Thermostat, I wanted it. Did my research and found that it works very well for older homes (built in 1928 with a hot water boiler heating system with radiators). It is perfect. It was an easy install (professional) and I like the ease of use of the physical thermostat and the App. I highly recommend. I will be purchasing other Nest products in the near future.

Very good home automation product

I've found the Nest thermostat to be very useful in controlling my home environment to the point of adding some at my church, my son's home and his small business. So easy to control remotely and it has already provided valuable diagnostic information that headed off some problems. My only complaint is that the software will only allow me to control 3 accounts (I already need access to 4).

Installation issues

Like the product and (once installed) the performance (so far-only installed 2 weeks ago). the issue is with the new heating/cooling systems hooking up the wiring to the nest, unless you are an hvac pro, is not simple nor intuitive. Nest is advertised as a DIY project, showing four wires in their installation video. Our system had 8 wires. finally had to call our hvac contractor to complete .

I love the fact that I can control my thermostat via my phone while away from home and that I can keep my kids from controlling thermostat with a password. No more high bills. Yay!!!
