Love my Nest Hello

Happy so far, I love that I know when anyone is in front of my front door. From far off the image gets grainy, going to get a couple nest exterior cameras to get a better front yard view.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Let me start off by saying I'm a middle aged woman who is only slightly technology literate. But I do consider myself a bit handy around the house. When I received the nest as a gift from my step dad because he wanted me to be the "guinea pig" and install and learn it so that I may teach him, I took on the challenge! I read the literature that came with the product and I watched the YouTube video. I have to admit I was a bit overwhelmed and had doubt that I could install this without help. I decided to walk away until that feeling passed. I came back to it the next day and with the screwdriver that was provided in the product box, I went to work. I found that nest had covered absolutely everything that they needed to and then some was possibly the reason I was overwhelmed was because of OVER information! They had included every possible scenario under the sun. (Nothing wrong with that!) Which turns out that I had a super straight forward installation experience. After I went through the physical install, I ran the set up all on my own also. Downloaded the app and connected it. I walked away from this experience feeling smarter and more capable and more tech savvy than ever! So, thank you to Nest for making me feel that way! :)

Ok, not life changing

It’s nice to be able to manage the temp remote. While it’s been installed for 2 weeks, I don’t know what the “learning" feature is, as it doesn’t do anything to automatically regulate the temp based on usage patterns.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nest Learning Thermostat should have a good idea of your patterns after about a week or so if they have a consistent routine. Sudden changes to your usual routine will change the previously learned algorithms, and it will continue to learn your new routines, but it won’t adapt immediately.

My smart Nest Thermostat!

It’s not really cheap, but it’s worth EVERY PENNY I spent on it!! It immediately started SAVING MONEY in my electric bill and Pauling for itself— probably in less than year it will pay off for the price I spent on it!! It’s smartness keeps us comfortable while saving money! It’s smartness tells me of filter dirty or is anything is about to go wrong— it predicts before a problem is imminent!!

We just installed out nest thermostat last night and had it working in 10 minutes. Very user friendly and extremely sleek and modern looking. Love that I can control temp from my phone especially on those cold mornings! Highly recommend!

Wonderful upgrade

Our house actually seems warmer as the old thermostat was affected by the sun and this takes it into account. Easy to set up and use with google home. Learning feature is helping but it’s been a mild winter so hard to say how much we are saving.
