From start to finish the directions are spot on and ease of installation made it a snap! It took longer to unhook the wires from around screws on my old model. The Nest, you just straighten wires and plug them in. They also include a plate to cover up the unsightly mess left by your previous model since the Nest is just a circle. After installation, the Nest is completely user friendly. A++++

Excellent product and easy install... Just follow the instructions and “ Wella “ Done!! That easy, but the WiFi is a little tricky.. Not hard to figure out after a couple try’s. Looks GREAT on the wall ...

Loved it the first few years and then....

I loved it the first few years and then it went wonky on me and had to be replaced. Considering the cost it's an expensive thermostat. I had it pretty well trained and now with a new one I have to start all over again.

I strongly recommend the Nest Learning Thermostat for ypur home especially if your current thermostat is outdated. I purchased my home a year ago and had an old needle thermostat which I found it impossible to get the temperature at a comfortable level and my energy bill was close to $200/month. After installing the Nest I immediately saw huge changes in my energy bill paying $68/month average.
