Love it!

I had very high expectations for a Nest product but the ease of installation was beyond what I expected. Connecting to the app was a breeze as well. While I love all the features, really I got this thermostat so I can turn the heat up and down without leaving my couch - and its working like a dream! Love this thermostat!

I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to upgrade or buy a new thermostat. It's a whole new experience different from the programmable thermostats. I love the app that you can control the thermostat from your phone.

The thermostat helps me save money in multiple ways . Not only does it have energy, but I benefit with my gas company by being able to participate in special rebate programs.
Not to mention the device looks gorgeous

Nest Thermostats

Very easy to setup and information via YouTube makes it effortlessly. I only have two wires red and white and the nest learning 3 gen works excellent. The WiFi setting were easy to setup. I have been using it for two weeks with no problem. I went away for a few days and set it to eco mode, then a few hours before returning home I turned the eco mode off and the house was nice and comfortable. I live in the northeast and this will be a great asset to conserve heat, especially with the high fuel prices we are unfortunately experiencing.

Right out of the box we had a low battery and charging issues. Old thermostat worked good and we wanted an upgrade but had problem after problem with the Nest. Very disappointed.

Hi Rizon, thanks for letting us know about your experience. We’re sorry to hear that you’ve encountered battery problems with your new Nest Learning Thermostat. Battery drain problems usually occur when the system wires can't deliver enough power to charge the battery of your thermostat. It may also be related to Wi-Fi connectivity issues where the battery drains due to the network usage of the device.

You may try to completely disconnect your Nest thermostat from the Wi-Fi network and try to use it manually for at least 24 hours. If the issue is resolved while it is disconnected, the battery drain could be caused by your Wi-Fi network. If the issue continues to occur, then the system wires are probably not delivering enough power, and your Nest Learning Thermostat may need a common (C) wire to get adequate power to stay charged up.

We’d like to help you in the best way possible. Please reach out to our support team, so we can work together to find out the root cause of the issue. You can contact us here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

Easy to use smart thermostat
on October 8, 2020
Posted by: April W
I upgraded from a regular thermostat to the Nest. I love being able to program the temperature whether I’m home or not. The app is so easy to use. This was the easiest to use smart device I’ve ever owned. I’m looking forward to smaller power bills next year
