I like the Nest Thermostat

I like the Nest. It's only two down sides are that it is hard to tell the actual temperature in a room and it does not come with remote sensors...........they are available but pricey.
I have installed 3 of them and it is easy...........it works well and I can monitor and control it easily with my Echo, phone and iPad devices. The away mode is awesome and I can turn the heat as we drive home.

My Nest Learning Thermostat

I love it . Everything in control with a simple twist or tap . Can control with the app , and I just love it . Can control the air from anywhere and it’s so simple to program .

Easy set up, wish it were smarter

Installed the thermostats myself. Installation instructions and setup process was pretty straightforward. The average DIY should be able to install on typical HVAC system.Voice control and app to adjust temp are my favorite features. I added 3 temp sensors to each thermostat to set temp to the specific room we are using (so eight custom temp zones with the two thermostats). This is an added bonus to the voice and app controls. The "week or so of learning" seemed a bit much. Not sure why it doesn't come with a few "typical schedules" to choose from that you can then tweak to your liking. Something like "work from home, wake up at 6 am", "grade school kids, adults work at office, wake at 6, leave by 7, return at 3" and give the user the option to modify times.I'm sure Google has a lot of user info that they could use for this.One broke about six months after installing. Nest is sending a replacement...although it's been two weeks and it still has not arrived.

Fantastic product

I installed this nest in less than 20 minutes from unboxing it and most of that was removing the old one. Setup is a breeze once installed and started working immediately. I later went to bed and got hot through the night adjusted it down without having to get up using the app. I'll soon get to see how it saves on energy as we are going into summer and look forward to using more of their products.

Happy to have our Nest

We were pleasantly surprised to find the nest was added with our security system. The Nest monitors the house tempature when we are home and away. The savings are notable with the first electric bill! If I am arriving home sooner than expected, I can adjust the temperature from my phone before I get home. I love the Nest and recommended one to each of my children to add to their homes.

looks great, easy to use

I was looking to replace my 29 year old thermostat and found that nest was highly regarded. I liked the fact that it came with a backplate large enough to cover the holes and old paint from the previous thermostat and it looks great on the wall. Took 5 minutes to program and connected easily with my wifi signal. App is simple to use and the learning part is great.

Excellent thermostat

Had an old thermostat that didn't go with the look of the living room. So was looking for something different and found a black ring nest. Thought it looked cool so that's the main reason I bought it. Came with a white wall plate cover though, which just looked weird. Quick search and found a black circular one so easy change there. But besides the look also an excellent thermostat with a lot opts
