Nest-set heat and/or cool in same day!

Great smart thermostat!!! I shouldn’t have waited so long to get one, if I knew that I could preset it at a range of comfort to HEAT & COOL, then I would have bought it when it first came out! In the Tucson, AZ desert the temperature swing can be great from 30’s to 80 degrees in same day. Now I don’t have to choose heat, then get home and switch to cool-it does it for me from what I preprogrammed. I had recommendations from NEST for a green energy saving range which helped. I installed it myself-read directions first, so you make sure to turn off house electricity power at fuse box & take a picture of your old wires before you disconnect). I programmed it, then adjusted my range for about 2 weeks; I have been so comfortable that I haven’t touched it since!
I also appreciate that if I go on vacation I can fix the temperature from my smart phone if I forget (which I did a previous summer and costed me at least $200 for not adjusting it in July), since I leave the a/c on for the dog, but need it a few degrees higher so I save money on electric bill. Electric comes at a premium cost in the desert especially in the summer. It gives me a daily report of how long the heat-my gas or A/C-my electric was on. I am excited to see how this really affects my bills. I have already noticed a difference this Fall/Winter. Good stuff!
Now I’m saving to get more Nest products like the carbon monoxide dectector and outdoor camera IQ. Great technology working for me; I like that a lot!

Nest is functional and stylish, and I love being able to control the temperature from anywhere. Having an extra temperature sensor in my bedroom ensures that I'm comfortable all night, without having to install another thermostat!

I actually do. I like how easy is the setup, from installation to programming it! I like that it shows me my daily consumption on the easy to use app! Definitely recommended!

Love this product. Very easy to install and I like the auto adjustment based on my initial use.
Very nice display of temperatures. Like having weather and outside temperatures displayed as well as inside.

Easy to put up and understand the wiring its not bad just follow the instructions and hook it up to the internet and set up your nest app on your phone and again flower the instructions its not that bad are call for support love the thing wish i had brought one sooner

I purchased two nest thermostats for my house, I was not disappointed, the nest has many great features and alot of great add ons that is really good. The nest is better than I ever thought. I love it.

The thermostat is great! It looks clean and modern and certainly less obtrusive than the rectangular thing full of buttons. This thermostat can be adjusted on the wall physically, but there’s never a need. You can schedule your environment, switch the modes to heating/cooling or a mix of in between. You can change the desired temperature all from your phone. Excellent piece of equipment.
