Love my Nest thermostat. My heating system was working better and my home more comfortable almost immediately.

Love everything about it except the cheap white plastic backplate nearly everyone needs to use if retrofitting. Cheapens what is otherwise a sleek looking piece of tech that delivers great quality and user experience.

Upgrade from first gen. With new HVAC. Enjoy the new features. House is more comfortable after using standard thermostat for a year. Love the schedule feature. Don’t get up in middle of night to cool house down. Know I am not wasting energy and money when I am away. Like the cooling effect of running fan after AC turns off.

The Nest allows me to schedule what times I want the house heated/cooled to a certain temperature. The design and UI is sleek and easy to use. Installation was simple and the amount of money I save with the Nest ensures that thermostat pays for itself in no time.

My New Nest Thermostat

Before I bought the Nest, I used the compatibility guide on their website. It gave me the confidence to install it myself. I did read the instruction manual and watched the installation video. It all went just as the manual described and I was finished in a little over 30 minutes. What a high quality device this is! Solid, easy-to-use, and some exciting options to make it fun to use. No regrets!

The is a well thought out product. Two thumbs up. Be sure and take a photo of your existing HVAC wire colors and which terminals they are attached to and use the include tape tape that will make your install go easy. I missed this part but customer support on the phone was able to help me get everything working great. Installed for 3 months now and working perfect.
