Huge Upgrade

The Nest was am awesome upgrade to our new house!
The ease of installation and the accessibility from your phone is great. Saving money with Nest's Eco mode is the icing on the cake!

Only took minutes to install the device.

I couldn't believe that it was so easy to install the thermostat and set up so smooth. Only took minutes to install the device only after unraveling a wiring puzzle in my 1960's home. 1. of the six wires connected to my old thermostat only four were actually connected to the HVAC on the other end, and 2. the color of the wires changed between the AC compressor and the wiring closet. Great product

Wish I had got one sooner

I finally pulled the trigger on the nest about 2 months ago after house sitting for a friend who has one.
I often have to stay over for work so it’s nice to be able to go into the app and adjust the temperature accordingly.
The schedule it set for me required very little adjustment for it to be perfect.
It took the nest longer to update than it did for me to wire and mount the nest so easy.

An easy decision

If you're unsure - just buy it. It will pay for itself in a short time (depending on your use) and the "cool factor" of plug-and-play (along with a doorbell camera and other Nest cameras) is very quick and simple. It's one of the first things I would buy on another house again if I had to move somewhere tomorrow.

I was very surprised at how easy the installation was. Nest provided clear and helpful instructions to get the old stat I had replaced with the Nest. I have only been using it for a few days but so far so good. I am impressed up to this point.

Steady temperatures!

My husband and I replaced our furnace and heat pump system and installed a NEST Learning Thermostat into our home which was built in the late 50s. Excellent temperature control! Easy app to install and use! Would recommend this thermostat to everyone! Looking to install Nest Fire detectors next! We are sold..
