Better then expected...

I purchased two Learning Thermostats for my home and could not be happier. My energy costs have gone down and my home is significantly more comfortable. The units are working better than I expected. The room temperatures in my home are more level and managing the temperature is so much more efficient using the app. You cannot go wrong with this thermostat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Jumps temperatures

Jumps temperature settings willy-nilly. I just started using the product and need to figure out it's logic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Manoj, thanks for sharing your experience with us. We're sorry to hear you're experiencing some issues with your Nest Learning Thermostat.
Nest Learning thermostat is designed to learn your preferred temperatures at certain times of the day. It has a setting called “Auto-Schedule” that creates schedules for you once it learns your routine. You can turn off this feature so your thermostat will work like a traditional non-programmable thermostat and it will stay on whatever temperature you set it to (like “hold” mode) until you select a new temperature.
Please follow the steps below:
With the Nest app:
- Open the Nest app and select your Nest thermostat.
- Select Settings, and then Auto-Schedule.
- Tap the switch to turn it off.
On your thermostat:
- Press the ring and choose Settings, and then Nest Sense, and then Auto-Schedule, and then Off.
Once you turn it off, we suggest clearing all the schedules by selecting Settings, then Reset, and then Schedule to ensure your thermostat won't kick in based on the logged schedules.

Great capability in a small attractive package

We’ve had the Nest learning thermostat for a little over a year in addition to Nest outdoors cameras and smoke detectors. The thermostat has a lot of capability packed into a solid device with a smaller footprint on our wall than most standard thermostats. It nests well with the other products in the smartphone app to give me a good idea that my home is as secure and energy efficient as possible.
