I would buy a standard digital thermostat that has Wi-Fi capabilities they do just as good job not as complicated and easier to program
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great savings with my Nest

Highly suggest the Nest thermostat. I kept track of my previous energy bills to compare to the months I have owned the Nest and each month I have decreased in dollars and AC use. Easy set up, I did call for help to install. texted pic and they walked me through with ease. ECO setting is a little confusing, If I come home later than normal I must use app to cool house prior to arrival. Buy a Nest.

Gorgeous and functional

The thermostat was easy to install, although it took longer than it should have to enter my wifi password due to there being a space, the space entry is not particularly intuitive. This looks incredible on the wall though the wall plate behind it is a little plain, but I needed a way to cover the ugly around wire., but at least there is one included, I just wish it matched the rest of the design.

Exceeds expectations!

I've installed many thermostats in my time. I do residential wiring by trade and this was by far the easiest, most user friendly and Intuitive experience I've ever had with user electronics. It looks gorgeous, and performs flawlessly!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to set up, and use

No gimmicks, it just works. I’d suggest that they make the scheduling a bit larger on the iPhone though, over 40, it’s a little hard to see, lol

The nest thermostat was very easy to install. I Like that I can control it from my phone and see what the temperature is inside my house.
