Great product. The look, the features, and convenience. The only hiccup was turning off the auto-eco and learning modes to create me schedule without interference.

Great gift for tech people

My husband loves technology, I love saving money. This was the perfect Christmas gift for us both. He loves being able to control it from a phone, I love that we can go out of town and turn it to Eco. Also it’s great for pet lovers, when we have real bad weather I can check the temperature while at work and know my animals are warm. Peace of mind is invaluable.

Nest Learning Thermostat Gen 3

Thrilled to have the new Nest thermostat. Having the ability to control the temperature of my home from my smart phone is genius! I expect to save on my electric bill this year. Note for installation: Ensure the C wire is connected at the terminal board in the furnace to avoid frustration with (e73) error code.

Why did I wait so long to buy one?

I knew about these when they first came out and was excited someone finally did it right! Unfortunately, I waited until ours was too difficult to switch on and off and between heating and cooling. I felt like I had to justify the upgrade for some unknown reason. This thermostat will pay for itself in 18 months, let alone the reduced stress the old one gave and the comfort of having more control.
