This is a great thermostat upgrade. Love the ease of installation and set up, the large display numbers, the outside ring for temperature adjustments at the thermostat, & a user friendly app for adjustments remotely! It has well thought out technology & has made life much easier when it comes to climate comfort at home. The app saves my sanity when we have left on vacation also!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love our Nest!

We’ve wanted a Nest for a long time but had radiant heat in the ceiling which wasn’t compatible. When we moved, one the the first things we got was a Nest. It shipped really fast, set up was super easy, even though our HVAC is a little complicated with dual fuel, and it’s worked great since we installed it. We don’t have a set schedule so the feature that detects when we’re home and away is really great. Hoping to save some money on heating bills this winter.

Easy to install, easy to use

I have an older heater that only has two wires, and a quick YouTube search found exactly what I need to do. Installation was fast and easy, push the wires into the holes and it was done. I am loving the control and the auto learning is excellent.

My first Nest

I bought the Nest learning thermostat after looking for a long time. I should have purchased it long ago. My old unit was okay, but was not accurate. The nest in spot on.

Incompatibility

I gave a rating of 2 because the unit works well on heat but not in the cooling mode. In the cooling mode the compressor frequently turns on for less than 3 seconds then turns off.The unit was easy to install. My unit is a Goodman 3 1/2 ton gas pac, model GPG154211541AA. The Nest Learning Thermostat appears to be incompatible to this unit.Based on the heating operation, I definitely recommend this product for compatible units.
