It really isn't any more functional than the standard thermostat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought on a whim to replace an old programmable thermostat. I am so very happy I did! The ease of installation and even easier to use. Highly recommend this thermostat!

I bought a Nest Thermostat & I love it. I can adjust my heat & or air conditioning with my phone no matter where I am & in the end it helps save on my electric bill. Thanks Nest...

Great WiFi Thermostat

I was looking for a WiFi enabled thermostat to replace an ordinary set back model. I was able to purchase a NEST III for $150 plus a $75 rebate from the local utility. Great deal before I even installed the unit. Easy to install, programs itself, if you like and saves you energy every time no one is home. Has pretty good diagnostics too.

A great update to the default

I appreciated the ability to monitor temps and usage of my upstairs and downstairs units.
The geolocation features and motion detection helped the system function smartly. I’m glad that remote temp sensors are now available.

Get One of These

This product was super-easy to install and setup. I'm by no means a handy man, but even I was able to set it up and get it running. Getting onto our WiFi and using the app on my iPhone was intuitive. I was able to add my spouse to it as well.
