Easy

The setup was alot easier that I thought it would be. When I removed the old thermostat to my horror I found that the wall was painted 3 times since the old one was installed. I thought I was going to have to run out and try to match the paint to install the nest in the middle of installation. . Uponther inspection of the package there was a wall plate that was included to cover this space. I plan on repaint the room and removing the plate in the future but for now it looks good and I don't have a spot with paint from the 70's in the middle of the room.

Best Thermostat Hands Down

I had these in my old house and loved them. When I moved, the new house had Honeywell thermostats. I tried to use them including the app but could not keep them. They were nowhere near as awesome as my Nests so I replaced them. So happy now. There is nothing like the Nest. Don’t waste your money on anything else.

Excellent Thermostat

Works with Home Assistant, creates and adheres to a schedule which can be manually adjusted, controllable from anywhere your phone has internet connectivity. Very satisfied with it.

An upgrade I never knew we needed...

Let me start here, we’ve always had the traditional thermostat where you had to program 3/4 presets for the day to get the AC/Heater running automatically and also switching on and off when not home. Ended up purchasing the nest based off reviews and having seen one before, absolutely love the ease of use and the setup was easy too. Would purchase again. TLDR; way better then a normal thermostat.

This unit has far exceeded my expectations. Already saving money and should recoup the cost in less than a year. Easy to install and blower control with gradual temp adjustment is a big plus.
