I love technology! The Nest thermostat is state of the art, looks great, saves you money, comes with a rebate AND comes with a Google Home Mini. What’s not to love?

Not compatible pet owners house gets too warm.

Turns off the air while we are out of the house so the dog gets left in a hot house so we had to turn off the learning mode.

You can still have the learning features turned on and keep your pets comfortable as you leave the house.
We recommend using Eco temperatures when you are away. However, make sure not to set your Eco temperature too low or too high.
Here’s how:
With the Home App:
Open App > Tap thermostat > Settings > Comfort and efficiency > Temperature preferences > Eco > adjust the temperature > Save
With the Nest App:
Select thermostat on home screen > Settings > Home/Away Assist > Eco temperature > Drag the slider to adjust the temperature range.
With your thermostat:
Menu > Settings > Eco > Select temperature you want (Heat to/Cool to) > Press and adjust the temperature, then press again to set.

Great device

I replaced a thermostat in a new house that was 13 ft off the ground and close to impossible to manage. Installing it was simple, never having done it before. End result, it is exactly what a wished it to be, look and ease of use. Being able to children it from my phone Andie and outside my house is awesome. Looking forward to many years with this product.

I installed my NEST and it was really easy. I wanted to replace an older thermostat with a new one that allowed setbacks at night and while I am away. The NEST actually learned the setbacks that I wanted in just a few days. It also interfaces with my security system, so it knows when I am away and automatically goes to my setbacks. I love it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great. Smart support but takes a lot of time to diagnose if you have a problem. Always resolved my problem though. Ease of use. Great app. Saves energy. Truly smart thermostat.
