Setup of the thermostat was very easy and the UI is intuitive. Only been using a few days so will see how it goes in terms of helping with energy usage. I do wish you didn’t have to use Google Home to add a user to control the thermostat. Was a bit frustrating getting it set up on my wife’s phone. I also think some users will get confused having two apps available to control one device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nest Learning Thermostat

I had a mostly working thermostat when I bought my house, I say mostly because after 2 years I still could not figure out how to set the schedules. I purchased the Nest Learning Thermostat and it was the best purchase for heating my home I could have made! Its super simple and easy to understand and the ability to change the Temps from my phone while i'm at work or from bed is amazing!

Installations was pretty easy. I did have my father come over to do the wiring. He is an air-conditioning mechanic. We downloaded the app and had a little trouble because I was unaware that the nest app was used to control many other products and it came up with info on cameras so I thought I downloaded the wrong app. After that it was as simple as can be. My step-daughter told me about her Nest Learning Thermostat. I did some research and saw that I would get a rebate from ComEd. So I made the purchase. Turns out it is worth the money without the rebate.

Love my new Nest!

The color options were excellent! I opted for the matte black...installation was a BREEZE! Thank you Nest for the helpful video and compatibility checker...The learning thermostat started LEARNING immediately. I can see the SAVINGS starting already!!! I definitely recommend this to my friends and family :)

Worth it!

In the first two months I owned the smart thermostat, I've saved the money I spent on it. Plus, I received incentives from the gas and power companies. It's so easy to use and looks great on the wall. The App makes it super easy to control and you can see how many hours you use.
