The Nest is slick, easy to read, easy to use. It learns by you just setting the temperature whenever you want and that will develop the settings it will use in that zone.

Fantastic Thermostat

I am not a handy person at all. I usually need to get people to fix everything for me. When we first got the Nest the plan was a friend was going to install it, but my existing thermostat decided to stop working on me. So I had no choice but to try to do this myself. First thing I noticed everything comes with the Nest. You don’t have to hunt down screws or screwdrivers or anything. Everything is right in the box. The directions are very easy to follow and within about 30 minutes I had the Nest up and running and within about 10 min after that I had it fully connect to the wifi as well as my cell phone. I love the fact that you can monitor the temperature from anywhere. You can even have it set up so that it knows when you left the house and it will reduce the heat to an eco level. This is the best thermostat that I have ever seen and used.

I bought this for a vacation home so I could adjust temps remotely and watch the temp remotely. The app works great. Installation and setup was a breeze.

A blessing all around

Bought the Learning Thermostat 3rd gen to upgrade my existing thermostat. Being able to run the indoor temp on a schedule was a plus but being able to control it from a mobile device was even more of a blessing. After installing it I noticed it displayed indoor humidity and outdoor temperature as well. The design of it is certainly more modern and pleasant to look at than what was hanging before

Love this thermostat!! Well worth the investment from all angles... better home temp efficiency/cost reduction, beautification of otherwise ugly hardware, and remote monitoring from anywhere in the world. Keep up the good work, Nest!!
