I recently purchased this product and it is definitely a welcome addition to my home. Very simple installation and it integrated seamlessly with my existing home automation system.
Will update review once I have more data on energy savings

Great Thermostat.

I highly recommend the Nest thermostat. I own the 3rd generation. It looks amazing and it can be controlled from the Nest app and my Google Home.
It's nice being able to control the thermostat from my phone or with my voice.
You can't go wrong with this purchase.

Love the controls but not auto

As I learn the Nest thermostat, I am realizing that there is no totally manual mode. The thermostat has a mind of its own and I don’t always want to let it determine what temperature I want when I get home. I love being able to use the app anytime, but I have been over-ridden by the Nest system a couple of times and finally shut off my phone and the thermostat. I love everything else about it.

Device is challenging to get to perform as expected with home/away assist, but definitely reduces furnace run time.

Loving the new Thermostat

I loved the idea of how Nest works, and when we replaced the AC units on my house we upgraded to the Nest thermostat, and what a great choice. I never knew what was really going on with my ac units before, but the insight has been amazing, as well as the ability to really tune when we are cooling and heating.

Simple looking, simple to use, easy to connect online. My previous smart/wifi/connected thermostat (provided at no charge by the energy company) wasn't so smart, nor was it so connected. A rigid schedule that didn't adapt to my & my wife's varying schedules; and when trying to connect online, more often than not, it was not connected. Simply put, the Nest thermostat is the opposite - simply works!

Wonderful product! Easy to install, easy to learn, easy to set up...just an all around great item! Do yourself a favor, save some nickels and dimes, get it, and let it start to repay you!
