The unexpected temperature changes may have been due to the schedules Nest Learning Thermostat created after learning your preferences with its learning feature, Auto-Schedule. If you'd like, you can turn off its learning feature and use it as a traditional programmable thermostat. You can follow the steps below to turn it off:

With the Nest app:
- Open the Nest app and select your Nest thermostat > Select Settings and then Auto-Schedule > Tap the switch to turn it off.

On your thermostat:
- Press the ring and choose Settings > Select Nest Sense > Choose Auto-Schedule > Then Off.

We also recommend clearing the existing schedules by selecting Settings, then Reset, and then Schedule to prevent any unexpected changes with the set temperature.
