Convenient and economical

I have learned quite a bit about this thermostat. It’s not my first time using WiFi devices. I’m all things technical. I have a degree in computer technology and I am still amazed at how user friendly today’s technologies have become over the years. To anyone that is hesitant to try today’s technically advanced devices , I must tell you that you have no idea what you’re missing out on. Take the .

Great Product!

This product was installed by our utility company to replace a product they were phasing out. Installation wasn't hard and installation of the app was a cinch. Since initially getting it, we have loved the convenience and simplicity of changing the temperature (especially away from home, since we travel once a month or so) and control over our bill! Great product!

The Learning Nest is exactly what this busy family needs. It is smart enough to know when we are home or away and adjusts temp to save energy. No need to remember to turn the thermostat up, down, or off before leaving.

I am currently in an unusual situation where I had a flood and I have been out of my home for the last two months. I had a nest installed when I received it as a birthday present and it has saved me a lot of money this winter. First, while we were not in the home, I set the eco mode to 58 degrees and it has been really easy to track. During the cleanup of the flood, the remediation company cut a hole in the ductwork for draining water. I have been following the usage of the heating system and I noticed a large spike one day. Sure enough, the patch for draining the water opened up and I was heating the cellar. I was able to get right on that. I have since turned the heat up for curing new floorboards which are getting installed today.
Hey, the nest is pretty to look at, however, it is a pretty incredible and simple to use the device. I have no questions it really pays for itself. I am a 100% advocate of this amazing technology.

Very easy to install and set up. So far it is more than we expected and it does a better job maintaining the temperature in the house. I also like the fact that it is "smart" and I can control while out of the home. Easier to use than what builders normally include in a home.
