I was a bit skeptical on purchasing this product. But the more I reviewed it the more I was being convinced that this is what I needed for my home. Nest has really came up with a wonderful idea and product. I love it. Thank you nest my home will be saving energy and my pocket.

Good, but not perfect

I feel like it doesn’t take into account the outside temp in it’s algorithm. Only time of day. Because it knows we like it warm at night, but not needed as much when it’s when it’s warm outside. Waking up in sweat when weather changes instantly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Google Nest Learning Thermostat can learn your daily routine and automatically create a temperature schedule for you. The outside temperature does not contribute to Auto- Schedule. Nest Thermostat learns a personalized schedule using the temperatures you’ve set.
If you don’t want your Nest Learning Thermostat to make automatic adjustments to its temperature schedule as it learns what temperatures you like and when, turn off Auto-Schedule. Then, you can manually edit the existing schedule, or create an entirely new one. Check out this article to learn more: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/10184385

I really like my Nest, but it is hard to hook up with a 2nd. cell phone. The directions are not crystal clear. Had a very difficult time getting my spouse connected to the Nest.
I would recommend this to a friend!
