Great upgrade, easy to install and use

This device was easy to install, the instructions in the box is easy to follow. Also, download the app and it will give you step by step instructions as well. If unsure, there are videos online to view the install if you are the visual type.
Once installed, it is easy to use and had no issue with connecting to my WiFi.
This all took less than 30 minutes.

Installation was super easy and once we had it set up it learned our routine immediately It has saved us a lot of money in our heating bill thank you so much

Wouldn’t buy again

This thing is an utter disaster to setup . Doesn’t keep charges at all, cannot use external c wire adapters, have to hard wire a c wire in (many do not have) , no jumpers Ugly, ugly setup of hat barely holds a days charge
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Though Nest thermostats would generally work without a common(C) wire, power drain issues usually occur when your system wires can't deliver enough power to keep the thermostats powered up. This will also cause your battery to drain. Installing a common (C) wire helps provide a stable power to your system. We recommend contacting a Nest Pro technician, since they may be able to provide you with other options, like installing a common (C) wire adapter, if you're having limitations with the standard common (C) wire installation. Wish we'd gotten one sooner!

We recently replaced our old thermostat with the Nest Learning Thermostat & it took the technician a matter on minutes to instruct me on how to use it and I've had no problems or questions on how to use it since. I love the fact that it's learned when we turn the heat up & down so I rarely have to change it now. And the phone app is great! I can change the temperature from anywhere!!

Love everything about it. That it will go into econo mode when we leave the house. Give a history of usage and teach how to save money. The App is the best part. Awesome device. Already saving money.

My Michigan Nest

I found the nest easy to install due to the simple and complete, fail-proof instructions. It's great for snow birds like us. It's easy to use the Nest app on my phone to check temperature in the house during bad weather and find out what the outside temperature outside. I plan on using a nest outdoor camera so I can see what it's like outside at home while we are in sunny Florida. One less worry!
