Nice Upgrade

My old thermostat broke and I needed to buy a replacement. I bought the Nest as a bit of a snap decision. I know it's expensive but at this point I think it's money well spent. Installation was easy and the instructions were excellent (Youtube video). The user interfaces are excellent as well (wall interface, iphone app, and online interface). The functionality is great as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Linking to App was a PIA

I have several locations with nest thermostats and cameras. All have been working fine until Google bought them out. Something must have changed in the software because I had to create separate "homes" for the 3 locations I was using. It was nice to see all my units in one place. Now I have to check 3 separate links
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Product

So far we are loving our Google Nest. We installed two in our home and the installation was easy as long as you watch some videos or read instructions on what to do and not to do. Once up, everything ran smoothly.

So glad we finally purchased! So simple to install and very user friendly! Love that it will learn our pattern and tells us at what temperature we can conserve energy. Couldn't be happier with this product!!!

Works with Geothermal

Set this up for a geothermal heating system and works very well. It learns your preferences and is very good at keeping the temperature constant. The "eco" setting is terrific as it assures temperature will never be above or below a certain temperature. Would give it five stars if the programming from the app would be a little easier.

Simple, beautiful, and efficient.

Unlike other thermostats made, the Nest combines a plethora of feathers, with an extremely simple design. It is very easy to install, program, and learn, but doesn’t overwhelm with anything. Ideal for anyone from novice to advanced users.
