Great smart device

I installed this nest thermostat myself which is no small feat for me. I love technology but the programming and installation of the recent products is outside my comfort zone. Turns out the nest was very easy to install and program. I was swapping out an old thermostat so everything was already there but the nest instructions made it very easy. Even has a cool little screwdriver. They also include a back plate to cove over the old thermostat place where the paint does not match. Very impressed with how thought out the install process was. I have had the unit installed for several months now and am very impressed with the functionality. I have two units and two nests. The upstairs unit is where my kids hang out and they constantly mess with the temp. The nest has a lockout feature and they have to call me to adjust temp. I then can do it remotely. Awesome!

My Nest Quest

This product has stopped my family from getting up and adjusting the temperature often as we did with our old thermostat. This product is very accurate as well as being able to make adjustments away from home. We thank our family members who gifted this technology to us.

The visual appeal and feel are top notch. I did have an issue with the software making the thermostat not connect to WiFi. This happened about 6mo into use and techsupport had a new unit to me with 3 days. The reinstatement was extremely easy. They entire suite of nest home products are great and it’s even better having everything controlled from 1 app.
