We have been able to program the Nest to drop temperatures when nobody is home and while we are sleeping. It automatically knows to raise when we come home. We've saved money on our electric bill as a result.

Nest is awesome

So far I am really impressed. The set up was so easy and learning how to operate the unit has been very easy as well. Nest looks great on the wall. I’m happy with this purchase. I believe it will save me money on my heating and cooling bill.

A lil friendly fella

This thermostat is by far. Easy to setup and use. Installation was very easy. I like the prompt responsiveness of the app. My Honeywell 9000 would take a minute or 2 to turn the system on. This one is fast. What I want to see in the future, is to implement some of the settings into the app as well. Display features can be setup only through the unit itself.

The thermostat has a motion detector, knows when I'm home and learns my preferences over time. Can't ask for much more.

It’s everything I expected. I have high hopes for google products, and I haven’t been let down. It’s only been a few days that we have had it but we are more than happy. The ease of use, the different options like scheduling, eco, etc are fun to play around with. Google has not let me down on yet another product and we plan to continue expanding in our google smart home products.

Excellent Product, Easy Setup

Replaced an old programmable thermostat in my 1930's gas radiator heated home. I watched a quick 6-minute installation video before the thermostat was delivered, and was pleased to see that it seemed simple. After downloading the app, it walked me through the installation which took me about 10 minutes tops. Had the heat back up and running another 10 minutes later after setup. Highly recommend!

Was skeptical about getting the nest thermostat at first. But since it's been installed I have to say I'm sold on it. The fact that it can be set from anywhere using a smartphone is definitely a great feature. The biggest plus with the Nest thermostat is it's knowing when you're away from home so the air or heat doesn't turn on saving money on the electric bill every month.
I would recommend this to a friend!
